Constable Precinct 4
Title: Constable, Precinct Four
After attending Tarleton State University, Chad started his law enforcement career as a deputy for the Hood County sheriff’s office. Chad holds certifications as an advanced peace officer, TCLEOSE instructor, mental health officer, and marine safety officer. He holds a civil process proficiency certificate. He has been an adjunct instructor for the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas at Sam Houston State University and the Texas Justice Court Training Center.
Chad was elected as Constable of precincts three and four in November of 1996 and took office January 1, 1997. With the continued growth from the DFW area, in 2008, Hood County split precincts three and four into individual justice of the peace and constable precincts. Chad Jordan is currently the constable of Precinct Four.
Chad has served the community as a member of the Granbury Fire Department since 2001.
In 2007, Chad received the prestigious “Constable of The Year” award from JPCA. His goal is striving to meet the community’s needs while exceeding their expectations.
