Rifle Team

The Hood County Rifle Team was formed in order to provide honors for fallen comrades and represents the Hood County sheriff's office, its officers, and families at police funerals, parades, and other ceremonial occasions.

The Rifle Team is designed to provide the sheriff's office with a specially trained ceremonial team to render honors, preserve tradition, stimulate esprit de corps, and instill pride. Their duties include providing the traditional three-rifle volley rifle salute used in funerals and memorial ceremonies.

  • Corporal Patrick Jones
  • Deputy Cathy Boone
